Requirements for all 50 States
The National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) requires any securities professional
associated with a member firm to be register with NASD. One of the steps in gaining
registration is passing specific NASD administered examinations. To find the most

Most NASD administered examinations require you to be sponsored by an NASD member
firm, a self-regulatory organization, a state regulator or an exchange. The sponsoring
entity will either submit the application for you, or provide you with further instruction
on how to submit the application. Once again all information can be found by visiting
